Signify, formerly known as Philips Lighting, is the leading global brand for lighting products. I worked with them for nearly 3 years on their smart lighting range as a product marketeer.

My initial responsibilities quickly expanded over time, which included being in charge of the Nordic smart lighting data analytics monitoring for their marketing department.

This included becoming a proficient user of SAP Analytics Cloud, which I did in under 2 months! I’m a super quick learner, can you tell?

Through the SAP tool I monitored user activity of the software application, how and why users interact with it, which helped shape the understanding of what features are needed in the app and what are not usable. I monitored product activations to observe what products are trending when, and connected these findings to marketing activities that the company did to better understand the outcome of their efforts.

Furthermore, I created a uniquely crafted overview of our competitors’ app downloads data, which gave a  real-time realistic overview of market share distribution. This helped Signify shape their product strategy in a way that served the market, and direct their marketing communication according to the preferences and needs of the users.
